Hi there! Welcome to Ed’s Clean Energy & Sustainability Jobs List, where we know climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels such as gasoline, coal, oil, and fossil gas (“natural” gas), and that burning fossil gas in our homes makes us sick.
There are 64 jobs and internships in the full version of the newsletter this week.

What I'm reading this week:
Gas stoves put restaurant cooks’ health at risk, new study finds (Alison Takemura, Canary Media).
As heating oil prices hit record highs, Mainers are eyeing winter with growing trepidation (Ari Snider, Maine Public). Homes that are heated with delivered fuels (heating oil, propane) are a slam dunk case for heat pumps, even in Maine. Efficiency Maine does a lot of good work in this space and has two open jobs in the list this week.
New Documents Add to Evidence in Climate Deception Case Against ExxonMobil (Nicholas Kusnetz, Inside Climate News). I found the information in the article about Exxon’s funding for carbon capture informative. This case is providing a lot of evidence that carbon capture isn’t a climate solution, but a solution to oil and gas industry PR problems. I’m still not aware of any carbon capture products that capture more than a few seconds of the world’s annual emissions.
