Hi there! Welcome to Ed’s Clean Energy & Sustainability Jobs List, where we know climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels such as gasoline, coal, oil, and fossil gas (“natural” gas), and that burning fossil gas in our homes makes us sick.
There are 83 jobs and internships in the full version of the newsletter this week.

Cooking with gas gets more expensive as Americans face rising prices into 2026 (Oliver Milman, The Guardian).
Natural gas use for electricity in California falls as solar generation rises (Andrew Iraola, U.S. Energy Information Agency, Today in Energy). The 2025 chart from this article is really interesting because it shows batteries responding to the infamous ‘duck curve’. Not to mention the way solar and batteries are starting to eat fossil gas’s lunch.
A Wildfire Survivors Want to Rebuild All-Electric, but a Utility Is Using Customer Funds to Incentivize Gas Appliances (Hilary Beaumont, Inside Climate News). California residents - the CPUC has an open public comment period on this matter. The article includes a link and details.
