Ed's Clean Energy & Sustainability Jobs List 08.16.26
August 15, 2015. Marin Headlands, CA.

2026, #29

Hi there! Welcome to Ed’s Clean Energy & Sustainability Jobs List, where we know climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels such as gasoline, coal, oil, and fossil gas (“natural” gas), and that burning fossil gas in our homes makes us sick.

There are 64 jobs and internships in the full version of the newsletter this week. This week I heard from 2 people who found new jobs!

Access to jobs that require less than five years experience or that are located outside of the U.S. are and will remain free. For jobs requiring more than five years experience, there are individual subscriptions ($7/month or $70/year) available. I also offer career center subscriptions ($300/year) which provides access for up to 10 users. College student? Please ask your career center to sign up for a paid subscription, especially if they pointed you here. Odds are they have not subscribed.

Want to support the jobs list, but can’t swing a subscription? I started an affiliate bookshop on Bookshop.org that will send me a small affiliate bonus if you purchase books using this link (https://bookshop.org/shop/EdsCleanJobs). I also included a selection of books that I’ve enjoyed that address climate change and climate solutions. You can also send me a one-time payment/tip using this link.

Voting is the most important thing you can do to enact climate policy and drive change at scale. Find information about how to register where you live here: https://www.vote.org/. If you want to do more, consider volunteering with the Environmental Voter Project

What I'm reading this week:

In North Carolina, rooftop solar is alive and well despite headwinds (Elizabeth Ouzts, Canary Media)

The AI Slop Backlash Is Actually Having an Impact (Reece Rogers, Wired)

Environmental (in)justice articles of the week:

With Federal Environmental Justice Programs Gutted, a Scholar Makes the Case for a More Confrontational Path (Kate Waxman, Inside Climate News)
